Rexam Beauty & Closure’s global dis-pensing systems business unit is now known as Rexam Dispensing Systems. The new name replaces Rexam Sofab and Rexam SMT and encompasses the unit’s three sites in Europe and the U.S. Rexam Dispensing Systems combines Rexam’s two European dispensing system facilities with the company’s fragrance pump plant in Thomaston, CT, which previously conducted business under the Risdon-AMS name. The two European facilites are based in Le Tréport and Tournus, France. “Our name change reflects the unification of our worldwide sales and manufacturing forces,” said Hervé Bichon, senior vice president, sales and marketing, Rexam Dispensing Systems. He added, “It also indicates that we can now offer an even wider range of first-class dispensing systems products on a global basis and be closer to our customers everywhere.” Rexam Dispensing Systems’ Euro-pean headquarters are located at 4 rue Diderot, 92156 Suresnes Cedex, France.
